Art by Nat is an independent artist from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  The natural world and human nature are major inspirations to their craft.  From a very young age, Art by Nat became immersed in the creative world, investigating different media and finding their own forte.  Their main focuses are mixed media, ceramics, and acrylic painting. After attending Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design in Vancouver, Art by Nat realized that artistic integrity can be found all around us, whether in the lushness of a forest, or amidst an interaction between people in common every-day settings.

Since then, Art by Nat has been a self-taught artist with the philosophy that once a piece is created, they detach all emotion from it with the purpose of encouraging their audience to personally connect with each piece themselves.  It is hoped that observers will form their own interpretation of what is in front of them and have an experience that evokes thought and introspection.
